How Can DTC Change Your Life?

“I truly enjoyed my time in the Medical Assisting Program. I had the best instructors. They understood my needs and wants and did their best to accommodate me and my peers. DTC prepared me for real-world experiences and my state board exam, which I passed on the first try.”

“I graduated high school and attended college, and like a lot of young people, I didnt apply myself like I should have. Taking four years to get a degree seemed like too long and I wasn't really guaranteed to find a job afterwards. I found Delta Tech while searching for shorter-term degrees. The certification opened doors to be able to work in medical offices both administrative and clinical. I graduated in 2017 and had my son in 2018, so a new job was a must. I got offered a position in 2021 at UMMC with the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. This position made it possible for me to quit my overnight job and work 8-5 and be home with my son! I absolutely loved all the exposure, but I saw that my love was for administration. Now, I'm a Home Health Liaison with work from home flexibility, higher pay, and with good communication with management.”

“The teachers never gave up on me and they didn't let me fail. They pushed me and helped me from start to finish. I loved my set of instructors...they made sure you got the hands-on training you needed, and they never gave up on a student. They wanted to see everyone grow. They chose one of the best extern sites for me and I got hired on site the second week with two other great students that came from DTC.”
