DTC Horn Lake, MS Programs

The Welding Program at DTC provides hands-on training to give you the skills you need to start your career as a welder! You’ll not only learn how to weld, but also cutting techniques, welding metallurgy, basic blueprint readings, and more!
DTC’s Welding Program trains you in the following welding processes:
- Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
- Gas Tungsten Arc Gas Welding (GTAW/TIG)
- Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG)
- Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW)

The Welding & Pipefitting Program trains you in both welding and pipefitting skills, so that you’re prepared to work in a more diverse range of job environments and roles. You’ll gain a set of skills that are applicable to both welding and pipefitting work.
In addition to learning several welding techniques, you’ll receive an additional 10-weeks of pipefitting-focused training, including:
- Basic Pipefitting
- Advanced Pipefitting
- DTC Welding & Pipefitting Certifications

Get your HVAC tech training at Delta Technical College’s HVAC school! DTC uses hands-on training to teach you how to repair, maintain, and install heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment. You’ll also learn how to become HVAC certified.
The HVAC/R Technician Program will teach you the following:
- Basic Electricity
- Air Conditioning
- Heat Pumps & Electric Heat
- Gas Heat
- Indoor Air Quality
- Employment & Certification Readiness

The I/C/R Electrician Program at Delta Technical College prepares you to become an industrial electrician, a commercial electrician, and a residential electrician. Build the technical skills and expertise you need to start a new career — train to become an electrician at DTC!
